‖ anadiplosis Rhet.|ˌænədɪˈpləʊsɪs| [L., a. Gr. ἀναδίπλωσις, n. of action f. ἀναδιπλό-εσθαι to be doubled back, f. ἀνά back + διπλό-ειν to double, f. διπλό-ος double.] Reduplication; the beginning of a sentence, line, or clause with the concluding, or any prominent, word of the one preceding.
