jodhpurs, n. pl.|ˈdʒɒdpəz, ˈdʒəʊd-| Also jodhpor, jodpor(e, judhpur, etc. [Name of a town and district in Rajasthan, a state in north-western India.] 1. a. Riding-breeches reaching to the ankle, combining breeches and gaiters. Also attrib. in sing. b. Indian trousers cut loosely at the top but close-fitting below the knee.
