ipsilateral, a.|ɪpsɪˈlætərəl| Formerly also ipse-, ipsolateral. [ipselateral f. L. ipse self + lateral a., after contralateral a.; ipsi-, ipsolateral app. formed by alteration.] Belonging to or occurring on the same side of the body; connecting two parts on the same side.
