voluntaryist|ˈvɒləntərɪɪst| [f. as prec. + -ist.] One who advocates or upholds the voluntary system of support and control in religious or (latterly esp.) educational institutions. Also, an advocate of voluntary military service. (Cf. voluntarist.)
