ˈvervecine, a. rare. [a. F. vervecine (Rabelais), or ad. L. vervēcīn-us, f. vervēc-is, vervex wether: see -ine1.] Of or belonging to a sheep. The first quot. merely follows the burlesque diction of the original text.
