A tumour of the blood vessels, usu. occurring in the brain or spinal cord, and composed of cells derived from angioblasts.

LV. 45/2 The tumour is clearly a haemangioblastoma with an admixture of capillary vessels and endotheliomatous masses. 1977Jrnl. Neurol. Sci. XXXI. 391 Among the tumors originally interpreted as angioblastic meningioma, 5 were found which showed the concomitant features of meningioma and hemangioblastoma. 1987Oxf. Textbk. Med.
