Semicircular, in shape or section; semicylindrical; as half-bead, half-round bit, half-round channel, half-round chisel, half-round drill, half-round file, half-round gutter, -round, half-round screw. half-round spade (Whaling), a spade with a blade resembling a carpenter's gouge, used in cutting the blanket piece free from the carcase.
