trenbolone, n. Pharm.|ˈtrɛnbələʊn| [Perh. f. triene n. + anabolic a. + -one.] A synthetic steroid hormone, 17β-hydroxyestra-4,9,11-trien-3-one, C18H22O2 , used in veterinary practice in the form of the acetate, as an anabolic agent.
