Adriamycin, n. Pharm.|ˌeɪdrɪəˈmaɪsɪn| Also adriamycin. [f. the name of the Adria(tic Sea + -mycin.] A proprietary name for (a preparation of) the cytotoxic antibiotic doxorubicin.
