Tasmanian, a. and n.|tæzˈmeɪnɪən, tæs-| A. adj. Of or pertaining to Tasmania in Australasia. In names of animals, plants, etc., native to Tasmania, as Tasmanian devil (see devil 7), T. wolf (see wolf). Also Tasmanian cranberry, Tasmanian currant, Tasmanian honeysuckle, Tasmanian ironwood, etc.: see the ns.
