‖ ta chuan|da dʒwan| Also ta tchuen. [Chinese dàzhuàn, f. dà big + zhuàn seal character.] In Chinese calligraphy, an early form of script used during the Chou dynasty (c 1028–221 b.c.); ‘large seal script’.
