Ellingtonian, a. and n.|ɛlɪŋˈtəʊnɪən| [f. the name of the American musician, Edward (‘Duke’) Ellington (b. 1899) + -ian.] A. adj. Of, pertaining to, or characteristic of ‘Duke’ Ellington, or his musical productions. B. n. A devotee or follower of Ellington. So Ellingˈtonia n. pl., music written by, or in the style of, Ellington.
