ekdemite Min.|ˈɛkdɪmaɪt, ɛkˈdiːmaɪt| Also ecdemite. [ad. Sw. ekdemit (A. E. Nordenskiöld 1877, in Geol. För. Förh. III. 379), f. Gr. ἔκδηµ-ος unusual + -ite1.] A yellow oxychloride of lead and arsenic, of uncertain formula, found in Sweden and the U.S.A.
