descendible, -able, a.|dɪˈsɛndɪb(ə)l, -əb(ə)l| [In 16th c. descendable, a. OF. descendable: subseq. conformed to L. analogies, as in ascendibilis from ascendĕre.] 1. That descends or may descend to an heir; capable of being transmitted by inheritance.
