释义	decyl Chem.\|ˈdɛsɪl\| [f. Gr. δέκα ten + -yl.] The tenth member of the series of hydrocarbon radicals having the formula C_nH₂_n₊₁; the monatomic alcohol radical C₁₀H₂₁; also called decatyl. Used attrib. in *decyl series, decyl compounds, decyl chloride, etc. Hence derivatives as ˈdecylene, the olefine of the decyl series C₁₀H₂₀; deˈcylic, of or pertaining to decyl, as in decylic alcohol, decylic hydride, etc. So ˈdecine, the liquid hydrocarbon C₁₀H₁₈, the ethine or acetylene member of the decyl series.
