the Quorn
/ðə ˈkwɔːn/
/ðə ˈkwɔːrn/
- one of Britain's best-known fox hunts (= groups of people who hunt foxes ), established in Leicestershire in 1696. The Quorn continues to operate but they now use an artificial scent (= smell) for the dogs to follow since fox hunting was made illegal in 2004.
