Gasan-Kuli

an urban-type settlement and center of Gasan-Kuli Raion, Krasnovodsk Oblast, Turkmen SSR. Situated in the extreme southwestern part of the republic, 8 km from the Caspian Sea and 320 km southeast of Krasnovodsk. It has a carpet factory, a desalinization plant, and a fishing industry. Part of the Krasnovodsk Preserve is located in Gasan-Kuli Raion.
