fundal heightThe distance (in centimeters) from the portion of the uterus above the insertion of the fallopian tubes to the symphysis pubis. Antepartum: The standard fundal height at 20 weeks gestation is at the maternal umbilicus. Thereafter, measurement from the pubic symphysis to the top of the fundus (in centimeters) should equal the number of weeks of gestation. See also: height |
