Location:Overlooks the Hudson River from the Mornside Heights section of Manhattan. Near the intersection of Riverside Dr. and West 122nd St.

Activities:Ranger-guided programs and tours.
Special Features:This memorial to Ulysses S. Grant, the Union commander who brought the Civil War to an end, includes the tombs of General and Mrs. Grant. As the President of the United States (1869-1877), Grant signed the act establishing the first national park, Yellowstone, on March 1, 1872.
