Consortium for Lexical Research

(CLR) The Consortium for Lexical Research is a repository fornatural language processing software, lexical data, tools andresources. It was set up in July 1991 in the ComputingResearch Laboratory of New Mexico State University, LasCruces, New Mexico.

CLR maintains a public ftp site, and a separate members-onlylibrary. Currently (Feb 1994) CLR has about 60 members,mostly academic institutions, including most US naturallanguage processing centres. Materials can be contributed tothe archives in exchange for membership.
