[dü′em ′mär·gyə·lēz i‚kwā·zhən] (thermodynamics) An equation showing the relationship between the two constituents of a liquid-vapor system and their partial vapor pressures: where xA and xB are the mole fractions of the two constituents, and pA and pB are the partial vapor pressures.
