An obsolete clinical test used to diagnose paralysis of the sympathetic nervous system involving peripheral structures.Method
Fever is induced with IV injection of typhoid vaccine, and the increase of surface temperature of the limb is measured at half-hour intervals with a thermocouple galvanometer.
