a membrane protein present on germinal center B cells, follicular dendritic cells, endothelium, and some epithelial cells which may act as a receptor for toxins of Escherichia coli or Shigella dysenteriae; expressed in Burkitt lymphomas and B-cell lymphomas of follicular center cell origin.
