Conduct Record

(Russian, konduit) a penalties book or list in which students’ offenses were entered. The conduct record was introduced into German schools in the mid-19th century at the suggestion of the educator J. F. Herbart. In Russia it was used in Gymnasiums, ecclesiastical schools, and military colleges.
