Fish tape

An electrician’s device to aid in pulling wires through a conduit. It is a thin steel wire that can be pushed through a system of conduits; then the actual wires are hooked onto the end of it and pulled back through the length of the conduit.

A tool used by plumbers to unblock a pipe or sanitary fitting; usually a highly flexible metal wire, given a rotary motion by a crank at one end.
