an urban-type settlement in Sisian Raion. Armenian SSR. Situated on the eastern slopes of the Zangezurskii Range at an elevation of approximately 1,900 m, 118 km northeast of the Nakhichevan’ railway station. There is a copper-molybdenum flotation-process factory in Dastakert.
