Bond, (J.) Max (Jr.)

(1935– ) architect; born in Louisville, Ky. (son of J. Max Bond). Trained at Harvard, he and Don Ryder co-founded Bond Ryder Associates (1969–90), a Harlem-based firm specializing in urban structures and Bond became a partner in Davis, Brody & Associates (1990). He became dean of the architecture school at the City College of New York (1985).
