Bolokhovo

a city (since 1943) in Kireevsk Raion, Tula Oblast, RSFSR, 25 km southeast of Tula and 5 km from the Prisady railroad station (on the Tula-Uzlovaia line). Population, 11,900 (1968). There is a machine-building plant that produces equipment and diffusion apparatus for the food-processing industry and a glue plant.
