Indications Spinal cord injury and voiding defects, post-prostatectomy incontinence, incontinence after surgery (i.e., failed surgery), overflow incontinence, urgency incontinence, sensory or motor defect of bladder in background of cerebrovascular accident (CVA), stroke, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, retention due to bladder pathology. Contraindications Active urinary tract infection, inability to pass catheter. |
