Corporate financing committee

A committee of the NASD that reviews underwriters' SEC-required documents to ensure that proposed markups are fair and in the public interest.

Corporate Financing Committee

A body of FINRA that reviews SEC filing materials prior to a new issue of a security. Its most important duty is to ensure that mark-ups that underwriters charge for shares of the new issue are fair. It also existed when FINRA was the National Association of Securities Dealers.

Corporate Financing Committee

A council of the National Association of Securities Dealers that determines the fairness of markups made by underwriters on securities issues.
