(rabkor), a worker or other employee, such as an engineer or an office employee at an industrial enterprise or in construction, transportation, or other urban organization, who has taken upon himself the civic duty of reporting to a newspaper or a radio or television station on matters concerning his labor collective and on the problems and events in the daily life of his settlement, raion, or city.
