William Beardall Tosohatchee State Reserve
Location:East of Orlando, south of State Road 50 on the west bank of the Saint Johns River.
Facilities:Primitive campsites, including a horseback campsite and a youth/group camping area, multi-use trails.
Activities:Camping, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, bicycling, wildlife viewing, hunting (with restrictions).
Special Features:Reserve borders 19 miles of the Saint Johns River. Alternating cyclesof fire and flooding have created a mosaic of marshes, swamps, pineflatwoods, and hammocks, a diverse habitat that supports a variety ofwildlife.
