Vibrational Spectra

spectra caused by vibrations of atoms in a molecule and of atoms, ions, and their groups in crystals and liquids. They usually consist of separate spectral bands. Absorption and reflection vibrational spectra and Raman spectra have been observed in the near infrared and visible regions, respectively.
