Uemskii

an urban-type settlement in Primor’e Raion, Arkhangelsk Oblast, RSFSR. Uemskii is situated on the right bank of the Severnaia Dvina, 14 km from Arkhangel’sk. The settlement has a ceramics combine and a poultry-packing plant. In the nearby village of Malye Karely, there is a museum of northern wooden architecture. Uemskii has a tourist hotel.
