(also Petr Friazin). Born after 1450 in Milan (?); died November 1493 in Moscow. Italian architect.

Solari studied under his father, the architect and sculptor Guiniforte Solari. In 1476 he was commissioned to direct construction on the Milan Cathedral. He later built several other structures in Milan. After settling in Russia in 1490, Solari participated in the construction of the walls and towers of the Moscow Kremlin and, together with Mark Friazin, built the Kremlin’s Hall of Facets.
