PhotiniaPhotiniaa genus of trees or shrubs of the family Rosaceae. The leaves are evergreen or deciduous. The white flowers are five-parted and gathered in compound cymose or panicled inflorescences. The fruits are small, usually red pomes. There are 60 species, distributed mainly in East Asia. Some species are cultivated as ornamentals; they are especially ornamental during flowering and fruiting.
