Pseudodipteral Temple

a type of Greek temple. It is distinguished from a dipteros by the absence of the second, or inner, row of columns in the outer colonnade. The distance from the colonnade to the walls of the naos in a pseudodipteral temple is approximately equal to two intercolumniations.
