释义 | Trade Union Act 1984Trade Union Act 1984a UK statute regulating activities of TRADE UNIONS. Under the Act, unions are required to elect, by secret ballot, voting members of their ruling executive committee at least every five years. The Act makes unions liable to civil action by employers where a STRIKE is authorized without a secret ballot of the members concerned.
