Salcha River State Recreation Site
Location:At milepost 323.3 on Richardson Highway, southeast of Fairbanks.
Facilities:Campsites, public-use cabin, picnic sites, toilets, drinking water, boat launch.
Activities:Camping, fishing.
Special Features:Park was designed primarily to provide boat access to the Salcha and Tanana rivers. King salmon, arctic grayling, and northern pike are the most common species of fish caught in the Salcha River.
