Truncated Prism

 

the part of a prism between the base and a nonparallel plane that cuts the prism. The volume of a truncated prism is equal to V = IQ, where l is the length of the segment connecting the centers of gravity of the bases and Q is the area of the section of the prism cut by a plane perpendicular to the segment.
