Sage, Kay (Katherine) Linn

(1898–1963) painter; born in Albany, N.Y. (wife of Yves Tanguy). Educated in New York, she worked as a translator there (1917–18), lived abroad (1919–39), and returned to settle in Woodbury, Conn. (1941). She was a surrealistic painter of desolate architectural scenes, as in The Instant (1941).
