(throne name, Nefer-ka-Ra). Egyptian pharaoh of the 25th (Ethiopian) Dynasty (ruled c. 716-c. 701 B.C.). Shabaka completed the union of Egypt and Cush, which had been initiated by his brother and predecessor Piankhy.
