Social-Production Management System
Social-Production Management System
an essential part of the management of the national economy, consisting of all subsystems related to particular aspects of management—goals, functions, principles, methods, agencies, personnel, engineering, and technology. The purpose of a social-production management system is to develop and put into effect means of managing production in accordance with the objective laws of social development. The effectiveness of a management system is evaluated by examining various indicators and the results achieved in terms of social production. A management system that embraces the entire national economy can come into existence only under socialism, in which the objective bases of planned, centralized management of an economy—that is, socialist public ownership and direct social labor—are created.
