Thumb Cove State Marine Park
Location:9 miles south of Seward on the east side of Resurrection Bay.
Facilities:Beach campsites, 2 public-use cabins (1 @di), toilets, trails, 2mooring buoys. Fresh water is available from a stream that flows from aglacier.
Activities:Camping, fishing, boating.
Special Features:The most striking geological feature in the area is Porcupine Glacier,which towers above the park and provides a dramatic backdrop. ThumbCove offers good protection from the often unstable weather ofResurrection Bay.
