Tagarskoe

a pelotherapy resort in Krasnoiarsk Krai; situated in the Minusinsk Basin on Lake Tagarskoe, 15 km from Minusinsk. Summers are warm, with an average July temperature of 20°C, and winters are cold, with an average January temperature of –20°C; annual precipitation is 350 mm. The mud is oily and viscous, with a strong odor of hydrogen sulfide. Tagarskoe has a sanatorium for the treatment of tuberculosis of the bones and joints.
