Pakruojis

a city (since 1950) and administrative center of Pakruojis Raion, Lithuanian SSR, located on the Kruoja River, in the Lielupė River basin. It is on a railroad line 260 km northwest of Vilnius. A creamery is located in the city, and there is an agricultural technicum in the vicinity.
