secondary stall

A stall that occurs during recovery from a preceding primary stall. This happens when an attempt is made to hasten the completion of stall recovery before the airflow over the aircraft has become fully laminar (i.e., before the aircraft has fully recovered). It takes the form of an accelerated maneuver stall.
