adrenal tumour
A nonspecific term for a circumscribed mass of the adrenal gland, which is used by radiologists before histopathological assessment, and by oncologists when discussing the mass with a patient. Adrenal tumours include:(1) Adrenocortical adenoma, see there;
(2) Adrenocortical adenocarcinoma, see there;
(3) Phaeochromocytoma;
(4) Metastases;
(5) Abscesses.
