Established: 1961.
Location:20 miles northwest of Memphis, Tennessee.
Facilities:Visitor center, observation platform, boat ramp, canoe trail, auto tour route.
Activities:Boating, fishing, hunting, educational programs.
Special Features:Bald eagles are present during the winter, and there is one active eagle nest on site.
Habitats: 5,484 acres of lake, swamp, bottomland hardwoods, and agricultural land.
Access: Open during daylight hours.
Wild life: Migrating ducks, geese, and raptors. Also provides habitat for fox squirrels, rabbits, and deer.
