Location:2 miles west of Niobrara, off NE 12.
Facilities:119 campsites (69 with electrical hookups), modern restrooms, showers,19 cabins, picnic areas and shelters, hiking trails (14 miles),mountain bike trails (14 miles), swimming pool, 3 boat ramps,playground.
Activities:Camping, boating (non-powered or electric), fishing, swimming, hiking,horseback trail rides, mountain biking, river raft trips (seasonal),wildlife viewing, bird watching, interpretive center.
Special Features:Park is situated at the confluence of the Niobrara and Missouri rivers,on the northeastern border of Nebraska. The park has a large populationof white-tailed deer as well as wild turkeys that roam freelythroughout the camping area. Beaver, muskrat, and mink can be seenalong the river banks. Adjacent to the park is Bazile Creek WildlifeManagement Area, which offers additional opportunities for wildlifeviewing, fishing, boating, and hunting in season. The park'sinterpretive center highlights the area's history, including the storyof the Ponca Indians.
